Will Chen is the VP of Computational Biology and Human Genetics at Dewpoint where he is advancing data- and analytics-driven condensate drug discovery with Dewpoint’s therapeutic scientists, condensate biologists, high throughput screening scientists, analysts, chemists and external partners to find new, differentiated medicines leveraging the organizing principle of biological condensates. Prior he was at Biogen serving on the R&D Translational Biology Leadership Team during which time his roles included Head of Systems Biology, Senior Director and Head of a joint computational and experimental drug discovery group, with a focus on research and early development in neurology and immunology. Will continues to use advanced analytics and large data sets, including modern population genetics findings, integrated with transcriptomic and proteomic data, imaging, to create novel translational medicine programs. Will’s research training was in the area of systems pharmacology and toxicology, computational biology, physics of condensed matter and polymer systems.
