Nathaniel interned for several summers, in both high school and college, at the NIAID in the Laboratory of Clinical Immunology and Microbiology under Dr. Steven Holland. There, his work focused mainly on characterizing rare immunodeficiencies, namely, STAT1-GOF and CGD. He attended Cornell University for his undergraduate studies, where he majored in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Microbiology, and a minor in Infectious disease Biology. After graduating from Cornell in 2021, he started work at MassBiologics of the UMass Chan Medical School, where he worked on a prophylactic monoclonal antibody treatment against Lyme disease. Now, at Dewpoint Therapeutics, Nathaniel is a member of the condensate mapping platform team where he seeks to elucidate what biomolecules are in different condensates and how they relate to disease.
