David grew up in North Jersey but ventured out to southwest Virginia to pursue degrees in Systems Biology and Nanomedicine at Virginia Tech. During his time at Virginia Tech, he worked in the Nutritional Immunology and Molecular Medicine Laboratory. There he worked to develop mathematical models to simulate immunological effects of Clostridium difficile. He also completed multiple internships at Quentis Therapeutics where he gained valuable wet-lab experience working with endoplasmic reticulum stress pathways. David is naturally drawn to immunology and is excited to face the challenges in the field of condensate biology.
David was an avid hockey player all his life and will likely be found on the ice during his free time.
