Peter Dandliker

Peter is Senior Vice President, Platform Technology at Dewpoint where he’s done science since January 2019. Before diving into condensates, Peter was Director of Pharmacology and Affinity Screening at Merck in Boston.

During his 25-year career in pharmaceutical research, Peter held a range of leadership roles at the chemistry / biology interface, establishing teams dedicated to hit-to-lead medicinal chemistry and biology, high-throughput ADME. He also led a three-year project to establish a preclinical discovery research lab in Shanghai on behalf of Abbott prior to the Abbvie spinout.

He enjoys purposeful technical innovation in the areas of target and lead discovery, pharmacological characterization, and chemical optimization and applying those new capabilities to advance discovery programs. He holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from UCLA, with research performed jointly at the ETH Zurich and performed his postdoctoral work at the California Institute of Technology with Jackie Barton.
