Prior to Dewpoint, I oversaw Harvard’s startup incubator programs as Director of Life Sciences at Harvard Innovation Labs, where I supported the creation of new ventures founded by members from across the Harvard ecosystem. In my past life, I was an assistant professor of biomedical engineering at Florida Institute of Technology. My research lab focused on the application of nanomaterials and advanced characterization techniques for drug delivery and regenerative medicine. I also sought to instill a strong entrepreneurial spirit within my lab, which led to the founding of two startups.
I received my PhD in Biomedical Engineering, MS in Materials Science & Engineering, and BS in Chemistry/Biochemistry, all from the University of Florida.
I’m always looking to learn from others as well as teach and mentor whenever I can lend a hand. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, fishing, golf, anything outdoors, and playing with our silk yorkie.
