Dahlia Amador

Dahlia received her bachelor’s degree in Cell & Molecular Biology, followed by a master’s degree in Bioinformatics from Northeastern University. At Northeastern, she joined the Ondrechen Research Group where she conducted literature searches and applied machine learning to predict active site residues in protein structures.

She completed two industry co-ops in discovery-stage departments. Post-graduation, she was hired at Casma Therapeutics on the Cellular Assays and Pharmacology team to conduct high-throughput imaging assays related to autophagy as a form of targeted protein degradation.

She is excited to apply the skills she’s learned to explore condensate biology at Dewpoint!
