A powerful collaboration between researchers from the Max Planck Institute, Agnes Toth-Petroczy and Dewpoint co-founder Anthony Hyman, and the Dewpoint team, notably CSO Isaac Klein and thought leader Diana Mitrea, culminated in the publication of CD-CODE (CrowDsourcing COndensate Database and Encyclopedia) in Nature Methods.
Rostam et al’s Brief Communication describes CD-CODE as a comprehensive, semi-manually curated database of all the reported condensates and their components. CD-CODE already contains more than 200 unique condensates and 10k proteins, and will be an incredibly valuable resource for the biomolecular condensate community.
