We are searching for a Manager in the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) group who will be responsible for the management and coordination of activities involved in reporting financial results for the company. Reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, you will be responsible for cross-functional planning and reporting across the company, working with business partners, project leaders, and managers. In addition, you will ensure timely financial reporting of budget versus actual and quarter-end close package

In this role you will…
- Prepare and successfully complete, rollup, and deliver quarterly budget vs. actual variance analysis, reports, explanations as well as re-forecasting future spend
- Review, in conjunction with project teams, additional details and components of project plans in addition to timelines, including budgets, resources (FTEs, etc.), amounts of material, vendors, and any risk management items
- Track key collaboration contracts between Dewpoint and collaborators
- Manage vendors, primarily by keeping track of PO spend vs. what is stated on contracts
- Be the main point of contact for Dewpoint employees and vendors, escalating any questions as required
- Review and approve purchase requisitions to check amounts are budgeted and correctly coded
- Assist Accounting with revenue recognition, capital projects, and other items as needed
- Develop ad hoc reporting based on management’s request
- Become a valuable contributor to other initiatives as they arise in our fast paced, start up environment
To do that you will need…
- BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, or economics
- Minimum 5 years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech experience
- Strong proficiency with MS Office suite especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical skills and demonstration of strong financial modeling skills
- Experience with financial planning systems (e.g., NetSuite and Planful or similar)
- Fundamental working knowledge of US GAAP and understanding of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls
- Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary and dynamic environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, the shared language of our multicultural team
